I think what’s going on here is the exact opposite. On the home page, what you see is a lot of people telling others how to make a living being an artist, but no actual art.

On publications the situation is a bit different. There’s a healthy amount of publications here with a focus on literature, and many of them have a loyal following. If their content isn’t featured on the home page, though, there’s a limit in the amount of people it will reach.
