… so much. I am currently breaking my bones, one at a time, on a Catherine wheel of my own creation. Twelve stories in 12 months, each one to be entered into a new competition for the month, never the same competition twice. It seemed less ambitious than a story a day and I thought — so naive— I thought it would be ‘fun’.
