Practicing in Silence
The last two posts I wrote had zero fans and zero reads.
In the past, such a result would send me into a spiral of self-doubt. Over time, however, I have learned to find comfort in silence.
There is something strangely relaxing about publishing posts no one reads.
I can try again the next day knowing that, as far as the readership goes, it will not be any worse than today.
I started this challenge as an attempt to unblock myself and lose my fear of putting my work out there. The only way to beat that fear is to show up consistently, regardless of the outcome.
In the past 16 days, I have shown up here. Tomorrow, I will show up again.
